What inspired you to choose the Supreme Extreme Balconette in White?
I searched endlessly online for the perfect dress for my rehearsal dinner and welcome party, I genuinely think I checked every site imaginable. I didn’t want anything typical or overdone; I was looking for something that felt fresh and unforgettable. When I discovered the Supreme Extreme Balconette, I was completely captivated by the design, it felt truly one-of-a-kind. On the day of the event, everyone kept saying I looked like a mermaid, which couldn’t have been more perfect given that our wedding weekend took place in a charming little beach town.
Could you tell us a little more about your special day?
Our evening began with an intimate rehearsal dinner shared with both of our families. Knowing our wedding day would be a whirlwind spent with all our guests, my husband and I wanted a dedicated moment to honour the joining of our two families. The night was filled with heartfelt speeches, hilarious (and slightly embarrassing) stories, and more than a few happy tears. After dinner, my mother-in-law hosted a welcome party to celebrate with everyone who had travelled to Cape May for the weekend, giving us a beautiful opportunity to express our gratitude.
You looked so confident and radiant — how did you feel wearing it?
It’s safe to say I truly felt like a mermaid. After what felt like forever searching for the perfect dress, this one was everything I didn’t even know I was looking for. From the moment I tried it on, I just knew—it was the one for me. I've always believed in the importance of loving what I wear, no matter the occasion, and wearing this dress on such a meaningful day made it all the more unforgettable.
